I shall continue to add to the Facebook group (Direct link - https://www.facebook.com/groups/262534177257797/). Also I am continuing to research those men of the parish who died in the service of their King and Country, and will go on adding the information I find to the website Lives of the First World War (livesofthefirstworldwar.org). The North Bradley WW1 memorials have recently been added to War Memorials Online (warmemorialsonline.org.uk) where you can see a photograph and a roll of honour. In the main allotment growers are usually far too busy with all this to think about arguments and disagreements, so this year the only idea we had of war was the World War I commemoration that was going countrywide, we did not expect to see war break out on one of the allotments.
