Personal Testimonies: “I attended a training last night for the Ramsey County Medical Reserve Corp on Individual and Family Preparedness. The trainer specifically covered codeReady and even walked the group through how to use the site - she talked about what a great resource it is and how easy it is to use. It was great to see the message getting out....” -Nancy Vanderburg, PH Preparedness Consultant.

“Great job on codeReady - excellent resource well beyond your state's boundaries,” Jeff Rubin, PhD, CEM(r), Emergency Manager, Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue

“I was very pleased when I saw a codeReady billboard on Shepherd Rd on the way to my house!!!

Great location--it definitely gets lots of traffic heading out to the S, SW, SE suburbs. Not to mention the bikers and walkers along that path,” Nila J. Gouldin, MPH, African American/African Health Coordinator, Office of Minority and Multicultural Health

“Great location--it definitely gets lots of traffic heading out to the S, SW, SE suburbs. Not to mention the bikers and walkers along that path,” Nila J. Gouldin, MPH, African American/African Health Coordinator, Office of Minority and Multicultural Health

“Just think this is fantastic website. Well done. Easy to understand and organized too. Appreciate all the work and care that went into creating the "Code Ready" campaign and website. This information is so important! Thank you, thank you!” The Jasper Family of Edina

“You have one of the best sites I've found of all the gov sites and I am passing this along. Best regards, Chuck Fenwick, Dir Medical Corps”

“Just wanted to say how impressed I am with your site and the tremendous amount of thought and excellent information you have put into it. I am a Council officer in Glasgow, Scotland, and was formerly Training Manager Scotland for the British Red Cross and this is one of the best examples of public information and preparedness I have seen. I hope that none of it is ever needed but, if it is, you have served your people exceptionally well. Well Done!” -David E Crossley

“CodeReady is FABULOUS. Thought you might be interested to know of a few additional actions I've taken should they be helpful to others. 1. I've packaged all the documents together (the Custom Plan, etc.) in a bright red 3-ring binder and placed it in the kitchen cupboard closest to the garage door. 2. The first two pages in the binder are actions we would need to take to stay home (e.g., moving the emergency supply of food to the utility room) and actions to take to evacuate (e.g., moving the emergency food supply to the car). I'd be happy to e-mail you copies of these pages if you'd like to see them. 3. On the CodeReady bin, the emergency car kit and the food containers, I've pasted big signs reading: "Red handbook in 1st kitchen cupboard" to remind myself where to look for instructions and other information. 4. On my computer's calendar, I've put a note recurring every four months to remind me to replace one- third of the food and water -- so that perishable supplies will remain fresh. 5. I've also added to the calendar the dates on which various medications expire (both prescription and over-the-counter), with reminders to replace the ones in the CodeReady bin. Thanks for your good work on this.” -Dore Mead

“I think your site is excellent and easy for the public to use. Its recommendations are consistent with what we are teaching our municipal employees, ACS, CERT, Medical Reserve Corps, etc.” –Ed Harris, Management Analyst II and Emergency Planner, Solid Waste Management Program, Fairfax County Department of Public Works and Environmental Services

“Excellent idea. Gets people thinking, especially if all of the info isn't at their fingertips. Also points out the range of possibilities - localized storms or even in-home emergencies to larger scale events such as a disease outbreak. Thanks!” Teri Alberico, U of MN graduate student
