On November 14, 1978, the Landmarks Preservation Commission held a public hearing on the prop:::>sed designation as a I.andmark of the Metrop:::>li tan Club Building and the proposed designation of the related Landmark Site (Item No. 9). The hearing was continued to January 9, 1979 (Item No. 2) . Poth hearings had been duly advertised in accordance with the provisions of law. At the t'MJ hearings one witness sp:::>ke in favor of designation and several letters in support of designation ~re read into the record. There were no speakers in opp:::>sition to designation. Addresses in all listings are given with cross streets so that you can find your destination more easily. Partanio This year brought AFA some excellent new Board members. Each one of them has unique abili- ties and comes to us with a distinct role to play.
