Orange Bowl Dance & Cheer Program WorldStrides OnStage formally Invites the Mid American Pompon program to perform in the 2016 Orange Bowl Performance Tour December 27 – December 31, 2016 Miami, Fl Orange Bowl Itinerary End your year with a bang by bringing your dancers to the Orange Bowl! WorldStrides OnStage Performance programs and the Orange Bowl have partnered to put on an event unlike any other. Your dancers will perform live during the halftime show of this elite football game, watched by an estimated 75,000 live fans. While in South Florida, your students will also take part in one of the most inclusive and prestigious dance conventions in the country. We are committed to bringing the top names in dance choreography and instruction for this event. Former choreographers include Cris Judd, Mandy Moore, Bonnie Story, Dave Scott, Liz Imperio and many more! DAY 1, Tuesday December 27th − Welcome to Miami! − Check into your hotel − Your performers will meet their halftime show choreographer and get right to work! DAY 2, Wednesday December 28th − Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. − Today is all about the dance convention! DAY 4, Friday December 30th − It’s game day! Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before heading out for the day. − Head out for your Final Halftime Show Dress Rehearsal with the entire show cast of marching bands, dancers, color guard, etc.! − Orange Bowl Kick-Off! Perform in the halftime show with a LIVE guest star! Dustin has a dynamic personality and is known for his hip-hop choreography. Here are just a few of Dustin’s achievements! − Dancer for Janet Jackson, Paula Abdul, Backstreet Boys, Aaron Carter, Brandy, and All 4 One − Featured dancer in the movie Black Knight − Dancer in commercials and special television performances, including Macy’s, Disney, Nike, MTV, Paramount Theme Parks, Bank of America, Quiksilver Surf Company, Harris Teeter, and Pepsi − Dancer at Walt Disney World and Carowinds − Choreographer for various artists, NBA dance teams, theme parks, hotel/casino shows, industrial and college dance teams − Choreographer for the 2015 Holiday Bowl in San Diego Dustin has partnered with WorldStrides in the past, most recently as the head choreographer for the 2015 Holiday Bowl. A veteran performer and instructor, Bonnie runs dance programs at Treehouse Athletic Club in Salt Lake City when she’s not teaching her special brand of jazz dance across the country. Here are just a few of Bonnie’s achievements! − Dancer in Michael Jackson’s “Smooth Criminal” music video − Dancer and choreographer for many television shows, commercials, films, and music videos − Emmy Award winner - Outstanding Choreography, High School Musical − Choreographer on So You Think You Can Dance − Co-choreographer for the opening and closing ceremonies at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City − Co-choreographer for Cirque du Soleil’s Viva Elvis − Associate Artistic Director of Odyssey Dance Theatre Chuck Maldonado Whether artistic directing, choreographing, or dancing; Chuck Maldonado is known worldwide as one of the best in the business. His professionalism, magnetic personality, and perfectionist attitude make him a pleasure and joy to work with. He is a four-time award-winning choreographer. Diddy, Spice Girls, Outkast and Gloria Estefan. Jamal is truly setting the industry standard in choreography. If the reservation is canceled by the school, Director or participant, within seven calendar days following receipt of written confirmation or initial payment invoice (whichever is received first), the WorldStrides program may be canceled and a full refund issued. b. If cancellation occurs beyond the seven day grace period but at least sixty (60) days prior to departure, WorldStrides will refund all amounts paid less a $100 processing fee per person, any amounts relating to the group deposit, and all applicable fees and penalties levied by airline, hotels, bus companies, retailers and other vendors. c. If the reservation is canceled by the school, Director or participant, less than sixty (60) days but more than seven (7) days prior to departure, WorldStrides will charge a 50% cancellation fee based on program price (including any amounts relating to the group deposit) plus and all applicable fees and penalties levied by airline, hotels, bus companies, retailers and other vendors. d. If the school, Director or participant cancels the reservation less than seven (7) days prior to departure, no refund will be given. e. If the Program is canceled by WorldStrides, the participant shall be entitled to a full refund minus fees for returned checks and merchandise fees received by it for the trip. f. In the event that an individual must cancel or a trip is canceled as a result of or following an act of God, war (whether declared or not), terrorism, civil unrest, or in the event of WorldStrides’ bankruptcy, insolvency, or cessation of business no refunds will be given.
