Orange Bowl Itinerary End your year with a bang by bringing your dancers to the Orange Bowl! WorldStrides OnStage Performance programs and the Orange Bowl have partnered to put on an event unlike any other. Your dancers will perform live during the halftime show of this elite football game, watched by an estimated 75,000 live fans. While in South Florida, your students will also take part in one of the most inclusive and prestigious dance conventions in the country. We are committed to bringing the top names in dance choreography and instruction for this event. Former choreographers include Cris Judd, Mandy Moore, , Dave Scott, Liz Imperio and many more! Combine your plans for choreography, education, performance, and travel this upcoming year and join us in South Florida! DAY 1, Tuesday December 27th − Welcome to Miami! − Check into your hotel − Your performers will meet their halftime show choreographer and get right to work! DAY 2, Wednesday December 28th − Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. − Today is all about the dance convention! Spend the morning and afternoon learning from your amazing choreographers. − In the evening welcome parents and families to applaud your dancers at the convention showcase. − You have the evening free to take in the sights of Miami.

DAY 3, Thursday December 29 th − After breakfast at the hotel, spend the day rehearsing for the halftime show. − In the evening, have a fantastic time with your fellow dancers at the dinner and dance party!

DAY 4, Friday December 30th

− It’s game day! Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before heading out for the day. − Head out for your Final Halftime Show Dress Rehearsal with the entire show cast of marching bands, dancers, color guard, etc.! − Orange Bowl Kick-Off! Perform in the halftime show with a LIVE guest star!

DAY 5, Saturday December 31st

− After a good night’s rest, kick off your New Year’s eve by enjoying Miami a bit more before heading home!

Orange Bowl 2016 Head Choreographer

Dustin Phillips

Originally from North Carolina, Dustin got his first break dancing on cruise ships and at amusement parks before moving to L.A. and dancing for artists. Dustin has a dynamic personality and is known for his hip-hop choreography. Here are just a few of Dustin’s achievements!

Orange Bowl 2016 Convention Choreographers Bonnie Story

Bonnie has been choreographing events with us since 2007 and is a graduate of Julliard and the School of American . A veteran performer and instructor, Bonnie runs dance programs at Treehouse Athletic Club in Salt Lake City when she’s not teaching her special brand of across the country. His professionalism, magnetic personality, and perfectionist attitude make him a pleasure and joy to work with. He is a four-time award-winning choreographer. Jamal is truly setting the industry standard in choreography. 2016-2017 Cancellation Policy Summary a. If the reservation is canceled by the school, Director or participant, within seven calendar days following receipt of written confirmation or initial payment invoice (whichever is received first), the WorldStrides program may be canceled and a full refund issued. b. If cancellation occurs beyond the seven day grace period but at least sixty (60) days prior to departure, WorldStrides will refund all amounts paid less a $100 processing fee per person, any amounts relating to the group deposit, and all applicable fees and penalties levied by airline, hotels, bus companies, retailers and other vendors. c. If the reservation is canceled by the school, Director or participant, less than sixty (60) days but more than seven (7) days prior to departure, WorldStrides will charge a 50% cancellation fee based on program price (including any amounts relating to the group deposit) plus and all applicable fees and penalties levied by airline, hotels, bus companies, retailers and other vendors. d. If the school, Director or participant cancels the reservation less than seven (7) days prior to departure, no refund will be given. e. If the Program is canceled by WorldStrides, the participant shall be entitled to a full refund minus fees for returned checks and merchandise fees received by it for the trip. f. In the event that an individual must cancel or a trip is canceled as a result of or following an act of God, war (whether declared or not), terrorism, civil unrest, or in the event of WorldStrides’ bankruptcy, insolvency, or cessation of business no refunds will be given.
