Midwest Exposure Series Tournament September 4-6, 2020 Resch Center

The members of the Hockey League, and the Resch Center have the following procedures and protocols in place to minimize the risk of a COVID-19 outbreak

1. Steps in place to minimize risk

a. All athletes should receive a temperature check as they enter the Resch Center. Checks done with an Infrared No-Touch Forehead Thermometer (iHealth PT#), provided by Resch Center. Coaches or team managers need to be the temperature screeners. Temperature screening takes place each day. Signage visible to ensure social distancing while waiting for the temperature check. All athletes who have a temperature less than 100.4 will report to their respective dressing area. Any athlete whose temperature exceeds 100.4 is tested again after a set amount of time. If athlete fails a second time, he/she will not be able to participate and needs to leave the venue. Even if temperature goes down the following day, athlete cannot participate unless they get a written note from a certified doctor, stating that the athlete does not have COVID-19.

b. Athletes instructed to arrive no earlier than 30 minutes prior to the start of their game. A Dressing room will be provided. Athletes should come dressed in equipment, except for skates, helmet and gloves if able to. At the completion of the game, all athletes must leave their dressing area immediately. Showering should be avoided in the dressing area. The storage of equipment at the facility is not allowed.

c. Green Bay Gamblers COVID-19 task force is made up of Head Coach/General Manager Pat Mikesch, ATC certified trainer Dave Stahlke, Director of Business Jeff Mitchell and Ted Shove with the Brown County Health Commission. Mr. Shove and an associate with the Brown County Health Commission received a tour of the facility. Mr. Shove confirmed that players are not required to wear masks while on the ice. They should wear a mask at any other time. Coaches and volunteers are required to wear a mask while on the bench and in the scorer’s booth d. All fans are to wear a mask while in the facility. Fans are to follow directions to the second floor bleacher area. Fans are not allowed to be at ice level unless they need to help an athlete with dressing. Fans are to immediately leave the arena once the game is complete and they have acquired their child/athlete.

2. Cleaning and Disinfecting

a. All areas of the facility cleaned and disinfected daily and prior to any usage with CDC approved product. Benches wiped down and disinfected after each game. Garbage reciprocals on the bench changed each day. Locker and dressing rooms disinfected after each game.
