Stat. § 147-86.43, the State Treasurer has determined that the companies listed below appear to be engaged in “restricted business operations,” as that term is defined in the amended Sudan (Darfur) Divestment Act of 2007 (the “Act”), based on federal sanctions lists and other publicly available, credible information. This updated List may be found at the State Treasurer’s website: https://www.nctreasurer.com. The State Treasurer and North Carolina Retirement Systems may not invest funds, and must divest any existing investment, with the restricted companies listed below. N.C. Gen. Stat. § 147-86.44. “Company” is defined by the Act to include not only restricted companies listed as a result of their own apparent restricted business operations in Sudan but also any “wholly-owned subsidiaries, majority-owned subsidiaries, parent companies, or affiliates of such entities.” N.C. Gen. Stat. § 147-86.42(3). The Department of State Treasurer is not responsible for compliance with the Act by other agencies or State political subdivisions. The Department’s responsibilities are solely focused on implementing N.C. Gen.     Rostec Relaunches Astrophotography Lens Manufacturing 04 February 2019 Press release Shvabe holding company (part of Rostec) has resumed the manufacturing of MC Rubinar 10/1000 Macro, a telephoto camera lens for close-up, landscape, architectural and sports photography. It is particularly popular with amateur astronomers as it can capture clear images of the lunar surface, stars and planets of the Solar System. The manufacturing of MC Rubinar 10/1000 Macro was launched at Shvabe’s Lytkarino Optical Glass Factory (LZOS). Fifty items have already been produced and another fifty will become available on the market in the second half of 2019. These lenses are compatible with the majority of reflex and non-reflex cameras and are offered by offline and online photo equipment stores. “We have relaunched Rubinar, a lens that has been legendary since the Soviet times, at a new level. Modern-day photo equipment is made on digital facilities with advanced technologies for the processing of optical and mechanical parts. Given Rubinar’s excellent quality we anticipate high demand both in Russia and beyond. Putting in place manufacturing facilities like these is part of Rostec's strategy that aims at large-scale diversification and at growing the share of civil-purpose products to 50% by 2025,” said Oleg Yevtushenko, Rostec’s Executive Director. Compared to other Rubinar products, the 10/1000 is distinguished by its compactness, light weight and high image quality. With its technical specifications, this classic lens caters to the needs of both amateur and professional photographers.     Zenit and Leica present a joint production camera in Cologne September 26, 2018 Press release Krasnogorsky Zavod, manufacturer of the Russian brand Zenit, in cooperation with Leica Camera AG, German manufacturer of premium cameras and optics, designed a new digital rangefinder camera Zenit M with a new generation lens. The Shvabe Holding, part of Rostec, has presented this product on its exhibition stand at Photokina 2018, the largest international trade fair for the photographic and imaging industries held in Cologne. One of the participants of this Russian-German project is Krasnogorsky Zavod (KMZ Zenit), one of the Russian leading designers of photographic equipment, is part of the Shvabe Holding. The Zenit M camera is technically based on the Leica M Type 240 platform, but has been modified both in terms of hardware and software. The camera is equipped with Zenitar 35 mm f/1.0 lens manufactured in steel and glass. It is completely designed and manufactured in Russia, 100% of its components and materials are Russian-made. The lens creates an image that doesn’t require processing, has unique bokeh and soft focus effect. Manufacturers present first Zenit M cameras in Cologne. Design of the modern Zenit M camera copies designs of the legendary Zenit and Zorky cameras, it is a full-frame rangefinder camera created for photography under various conditions.     Rostec installs astronomical optics at the largest telescope in Eurasia August 9, 2018 Press release Shvabe holding company (part of State Corporation Rostec) has completed the installation of a mirror at the Large Altazimuth Telescope (BTA) in the Special Astrophysical Observatory of the Russian Academy of Sciences (SAO RAS) in Karachay- Cherkessia. The telescope with updated astronomical optics, which increase the range of observations 1.5 times, will begin working this fall. The key element of BTA installed by Rostec experts is a mirror with a diameter of 6 meters. The surface of the mirror shape is now being adjusted, and the curvature and deviation of the mirror surface from the specified form are being measured. This will help to adjust the supporting systems that the mirror sits on. The final step will be to apply a reflective coating to the surface with a special vacuum unit. "Our technologies allow us to create a mirror weighing several dozen tons and process it with nanometer precision. The combination of the large size of the mirror and the unique reflective optical characteristics will allow Russian scientists to work with one of the most advanced telescopes in the world over the coming decades. The new optics increase the range of observations by 1.5 times, greatly expanding the horizons of research," commented the Executive Director of State Corporation Rostec Oleg Yevtushenko. In order to avoid deformation of the mirror, which weighs over 40 tons, 60 special supporting systems are used when pivoting the telescope. Employees of the Lytkarino Optical Glass Factory (LZOS) of the Shvabe Holding worked to improve the quality, accuracy, and penetrating power of the six-meter mirror.
