Stromboli

“Stromboli (1888-1910) ...brown colt, by Chester-Etna...During his racing years he was owned by prominent 19th century Sydney owner J.B. Clark and trained at Randwick by Tom Payten. In 1893 he was packed off to California, where he raced and also sired several subsequent American winners. He appears to have returned to Australia in ca. 1896.
