18 JOIN US FOR THE IRON FLY 2019 Can you tie a fly under pressure? If you can’t but would like to see some great tiers try, then join us.

The Iron Fly is a live fly tying contest and a really fun and entertaining activity for all Expo attendees to watch. But for those brave enough to tie, the fun will begin when the clock starts. The daily contestants will have a packet of material in which to design a fly, and under the clock with only minutes in which to complete the fly. When the time is up the hands must be raised away from the fly.

Material packets will be provided to the tiers with material that must be visible on the fly or be disquali- fied. We will change the material for each round just to make it interesting. A judging panel will be chosen each day and for the final round.

Scoring will be for: Originality, Neatness & Best Use of Materials. If you think you can handle the pressure SCHEDULE: bring your cheering section and sign up to test your FRIDAY: July 26th design skills. • 12:30-1:00 Prelim 1 • 1:00-1:30 Prelim 2 Finals on Saturday will be held to determine the 2019 Fly Fishing Expo Iron Fly winner!
