Easter Melrose Cumulative Wireframes Easter Melrose Wind Energy Project Appendix B Cumulative Wireframes Easter Melrose; All Projects 5 km 10 km 15 km Cumulative Assessment: Aberdeenshire Council have provided details of all wind energy projects within 20km of the Easter Melrose project, mapped above. These include projects that are built, consented, in planning and in scoping, and all scales of turbines from domestic 15kW up to large scale commercial 2.3MW. In line with national guidance cumulative assessment has been conducted on the adjacent projects which are built, consented and in planning. The smallest project to be assessed has turbines rated at 225kW, with a cluster around Cushnie, 4km SE of Easter Melrose. The nearest operational projects are at Brydock and Gairnieston, located around 8km SW of Easter Melrose; in each case these developments have much larger 2.3MW scale wind turbines. The largest project in the area is at Boyndie, around 15km W of the site. The projects assessed for cumulative impact are shown on cumulative impact wireframe images, with the 360 ° panoramas used to determine the scale of impact.
