NY-14-0927-WIPL Forensics Ad v4.indd 1 7/15/2014 4:37:47 PM welcome Thank you for joining us for the 2nd annual Women, Influence & Power in Law Conference. This program, including other InsideCounsel initiatives, are focused on helping the trajectory of reaching the day when one-third—or 165—of Fortune 500 general counsel will be women. This event continues to help play a critical role in developing the next generation of women leaders.

The programming for the Women, Influence & Power in Law Conference was led by women corporate counsel to encourage an exclusive exchange between women in-house counsel and women outside counsel on the day’s most pressing legal challenges. Women in-house and outside counsel will discuss current legal topics, bringing their individual experience and perspectives on issues such as Litigation, Investigations & Cross-Border Disputes, Governance & Compliance, IP, Privacy & Cybersecurity, Managing Global Challenges, Labor & Employment and Executive Leadership.

This conference will offer you the opportunity to delve deeper into specialized subjects while also removing many of the difficulties that stand in the way of one-on-one networking. In addition to offering invaluable networking opportunities, you will gain the chance to learn from women who are managing legal matters from many of the world’s largest corporations, law firms and government entities.

We are grateful to our program sponsors who have made this event possible. Special thanks go to our 2014 advisory board members for their guidance during program development. Most of all, we thank you for being here. We hope your experience at this year’s conference gives you the kind of information and inspiration that law department leaders like you need. Remember to complete the session surveys to give us your feedback on how we can make the Women, Influence & Power in Law Conference even more valuable to you at next year’s event!
