RESEARCH INTERESTS Conservation of vertebrate species, in particular those considering as rare and/or endangered. My research interests and experience also are in wildlife ecology and management, biodiversity conservation and community ecology. More specifically there are three focus areas of my work: a) endemic and endangered species conservation, particularly mammals, birds and reptiles, b) wildlife‐human conflicts, and c) wildlife‐ habitat relationships.

I supervised 21 undergraduate projects in the Dept. of Forestry and Management of Natural Environment between 2006 and 2010. Mountain (1998) in Reading University, in collaboration with Dr G. Holloway.
