The actual timber, old growth heart pine was reclaimed and reused from one of Decatur’s more historic buildings - the Bailey-Robinson Building. These timbers were in the Bailey-Robinson building for over 100 years.

The interior of the building has smooth finished concrete floors with high arching open ceilings. Multiple roof dormers provide open light from above.

The main structure is exposed and designed to give an “industrial” effect that relates back to the previous history of the Ingalls site as a ship building facility.

The design intent of the interior was to make it as multi-use as possible.
