I am proud to say that Mangalore University has been recognised as one of the premier universities in the country in terms of academic and research activities. During the last three years, students’ enrolment in higher education has been considerably increased. Further, more than one thousand research scholars have been registered for Ph.D. programme. The university provides good research facilities through PURSE, Microtron Centre, CARRT, CARER, etc. The h-index has risen from 31 in 2014 to 59 in 2017 as per Scopus. Our students have also performed well in sports and cultural activities at the national level. The NSS volunteers are actively participating in Swacch Bharath programme and other social activities.
