2009-10 NEWS ARCHIVE SUSC Announces Membership Into New England Premiership (NEP) July 2009 The Seacoast United Soccer Club is proud to announce the formation of a brand new, ground breaking league. The New England Premiership (NEP) has been founded by 6 Clubs to create an appropriate game environment for their players and coaches. Please click here for the official NEP Press Release. Simmons, Hill Selected for U14 National Training Camp July 2009 Lydia Simmons (Londonderry, NH) and Rachel Hill (Rollinsford, NH) were selected to attend the U-14 Girls National Team Training Camp to take place at the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA at the end of August. Simmons and Hill were two of the 36 players selected from a pool of the nation’s top 101 players at the U-14 age level. These players trained with select National Staff Coaches at the National Development Program U-14 Girls’ Identification Camp in Pomona, CA the week of July 28th. WMUR Hometown Heroes: Londonderry Trio September 26, 2009 Seniors Kelley Griffin, Tori McCombs, and Freshman Lydia Simmons were featured in WMUR’s "Hometown Heroes" spotlight. The three are hoping to lead Londonderry to a state championship. See the video here. College: SUSC Keepers In Action October 10, 2009 On Saturday October 10th, Providence College played host to #24 Notre Dame in NCAA Division I Big East Conference Men’s Soccer action. The match was decided in overtime with a golden goal from one of the Notre Dame Seacoast United Soccer Club – 2009/10 News Archive forwards which led to a 1-0 win for the Fighting Irish. -
