271 Superior Court Act (10/2013): Intention to establish a local seat of the division of the Northern Cape Division of the High Court as part of the rationalisation of the areas of jurisdictioin of the divisions of the High Court of South Africa 40753 SUPERIOR COURT ACT, 2013 (ACT NO. 10 OF 2013): INTENTION TO ESTABLISH A LOCAL SEAT OF THE DIVISION OF THE NORTHERN CAPE DIVISION OF THE HIGH COURT AS PART OF THE RATIONALISATION OF THE AREAS OF JURISDICTION OF THE DIVISIONS OF THE HIGH COURT OF SOUTH AFRICA

I, Azwihangwisi Faith Muthambi, Acting Minister of Justice and Correctional Services, intend to, in terms of section 6(3)(a) and (c) of the Superior Court Act,2013 (Act No. 10 of 2013), - (a) Establish a local seat of the Northern Cape Division of the High Court in Upington at the seat of the Upington Magistrate's Court; and (b) determine the magisterial districts over which the local seat of the Northern Cape Division in Upington shall exercise jurisdiction as indicated in the Schedule.
