-C Chris Herrmann launched his second of the season, a two-run shot in the fourth inning to give the Diamondbacks a 4-3 lead…It was the fifth go- ahead home run of his career (14 career home runs)…It was his second multi-hit effort of the season (4/6 at SF) and 26th of his career.

-3B Jake Lamb added his team-leading sixth home run of the season…It was the second hit off RHP Tanner Roark in his career (2-for-9), both hits going for home runs (also 8/2/2016).

-The 125 pitches by RHP Tanner Roark were the second most by a D-backs opposing pitcher in 6.0 innings or fewer…Only the Giants’ Livan Hernandez (127 pitches in 6.0 IP) threw more on July 26, 2001 at Chase Field…The 125 pitches were the most against the D-backs since Gil Meche threw 132 in a 4-hit on June 16, 2009 at KC.

-1B had his streak of 25 consecutive successful stolen base attempts come to an end in the first inning when he was caught stealing by C Jose Lobaton…. It was the second-longest streak in club history (Eric Byrnes, 30 from July 7-Sept. 11, 2007) and the longest streak by a first baseman since data began being kept in 1974.

-The Diamondbacks extended their streak of consecutive games with at least 11 to eight games, as Arizona fanned 11 Nationals…The eight consecutive games tie Cleveland’s Major League record (8 from Sept. 16-23, 2015).
