Growing in Christ

Fall Greetings from Children's Church!! “I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.” ― L. M. Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables

The beauty and majesty of Autumn will soon fill our senses. We gaze upon the brilliant colors. We hear the geese honking their yearly goodbyes. We smell the burning leaves. We taste everything pumpkin-spiced (LOL). We feel the warmth and coziness of our favorite sweater. Thank you, Creator God, for this me of vibrant arstry.

Our September lessons have focused on reaching out to others who seem lonely or struggling with love and gentleness as Jesus did for Legion. Beginning each day knowing that God is with us all throughout our day and we need not fear. Learning that God has a plan and purpose for each of us and somemes it goes hand-in-hand with things we enjoy or have a giing. Preparing the cutest Fall decoraons to deliver to residents at Twin Oaks at Heritage Pointe to hang and display in their rooms. We can’t wait to spend me with these precious elder children of God.

The youngest among us are preparing to lead worship for Children’s Sabbath on Sunday, October 13 th at both services. If you know a child who would like to parcipate, please let me know as soon as possible and have them here at Children’s Church every Sunday to pracce and get ready!!

Thank you to all our volunteers who lovingly help with our children. Please consider signing up for ei- ther service. You will feel like a kid again!!

In His Name,
