Yield significantly increases at lower temperatures (e.g., at 0°F, approximately 1/3 more blocks will be produced). + European models require different style attachment.

Simple to operate—no batteries, accessories or secondary operations required. Built in safety valve automatically vents excess pressure. Yields 1 to 3 lb. dry ice blocks in 2 minutes or less. Choose from 3 models; everything included except CO2 tank. (A 50-lb. CO2 cylinder at room temperature contains approximately 42-43 lbs. of usable liquid CO2. The balance is vapor which does not convert to solid dry ice.) A Guide to Selecting the Right Refrigerant

Design Testing Method

A hands-on process where you choose the path of the project every step of the way. ISC Labs performs the tests desired while you direct the design process with the help of ISC Lab’s engineering staff. This method of developing a solution requires your time and attention; the process is visible and under your control throughout.

ESM–Engineered Solution Method

The hands-off process. One of ISC Lab’s lead engineers is dedicated to your project and will serve as the guide working with you to determine the parameters and preferences of the solution needed. Once the information is gathered, the engineer will work to create a solution that meets all of your requirements. This is the fastest process and requires little of your time beyond initial consultations.

Temperature sensitive products are too valuable to ship or store in unproven packaging. ISC Labs is ready to make sure your temperature-controlled packaging meets your most demanding needs. Call us toll free at 800-505-5701 for further information.

2008 TS FOOD Catalog.indd 26 12/22/2007 3:48:16 PM Recycle our Products

ThermoSafe Brands aggressively supports efforts to reduce the impact of our business and products on the environment.

As an active member of the Alliance of Foam Packaging Recyclers (AFPR), ThermoSafe plants accept post-consumer expanded polystyrene (EPS) packaging products from the public for , reducing post-consumer waste fed into landfills. ThermoSafe uses 10-15% pre- consumer expanded polystyrene regrind in stock packaging products. For the latest information on EPS packaging, visit the Alliance of Foam Packaging Recyclers website at www.epspackaging.org.

Our polyurethane (PUR) containers are manufactured from non-toxic, closed-cell materials that are CFC and HCFC-free. They comply with international clean air regulations and can be reused and recycled.

Our PolarPack® and U-tek® gel packs are non-mechanical, non-toxic refrigerants. The polyethylene is recyclable and gel material is safe to wash down household drains.

Continuing our efforts to deliver sustainable products to the marketplace, ThermoSafe Brands continues to conduct extensive research into identifying alternative temperature assurance packaging components.
