Basics of VoiceOver Widgets Widgets are designed to give you little snippets of information, such as today’s . There’s a widget that shows your calendar events and a widget. You can add these widgets right to your home screen.

Follow these easy steps to start using widgets. Try it out.

1. From your home screen, swipe down through your actions until you hear VoiceOver announce “Edit Mode”.

2. When you are in edit mode, double-tap anywhere on the screen to start editing.

3. In the top left corner of your screen, touch the Add Widget button, which has a plus sign on it.

4. Double-tap in the middle of your screen to add widgets. 5. You are placed in a search field to search through all of your widgets.

Tip: You can also right swipe a few times to check out the types of widgets you can choose from.

6. You have three different size widgets to choose from: small, medium, and large.

7. Find the Notes widget and double-tap it.

8. You have three Notes widget sizes to choose from. Right swipe until you get to the adjustable bar.

9. Swipe up or down to increase or decrease the size of the widget.

10. Right swipe to get to the Add Widget button. Select the Add Widget button.

11. Double-tap your selection to add the widget to your home screen.

12. Tap the Done button in the top righthand corner when you’re finished.

13. Then double-tap anywhere on the screen to exit edit mode.
