20 Cruise Guide 14 1 Welcoming More Cruise Lines, More New Build Ships Long known as the Cruise Capital of the World, PortMiami continues to grow in size and stature as the world’s top cruise port with more passengers traveling through its terminals than any other Port in the world. PortMiami's 2014 Cruise Season features yet another new cruise brand, MSC Cruises, which joins the Port’s already impressive roster of the most exciting and modern cruise lines anywhere. MSC Cruises, an elegant Mediterranean brand is sailing one of its newest vessels, the MSC Divina, on itineraries that include the Caribbean and Latin America. The MSC Divina will homeport at PortMiami year-round. In February 2014, PortMiami will welcome Norwegian Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Norwegian Getaway, which will also homeport year-round in Miami. The Norwegian Getaway will sail with itineraries to Bahamas and the Caribbean. Other ships new to the PortMiami fleet this year include Carnival Cruise Lines' Carnival Conquest and Carnival Ecstasy and Costa Cruises' Costa Luminosa. Also, Resorts World Bimini is now offering daily service between PortMiami and Bimini.
