AMATEUR SKINS FORMAT RED TEES: MEN OVER THE AGE OF 60 AND ALL WOMEN WHITE TEES: MEN BETWEEN THE AGES OF 50 AND 59 BLUE TEES: MEN AGES 49 AND BELOW

2 MAN SCRAMBLE AMATEURS ONLY On each hole, you and your partner will off and then go to the best shot between the 2 and you will both play from there. This will continue until you reach the green. Before you reach the green, you are allowed to lift, clean, and place the ball one club length in any direction but no closer to the hole. You also cannot improve the condition of your lie. For example, if the ball is in a you MUST play the ball from the hazard. The same goes for lies in the bunker. If you are unsure of the ruling of your lie, consult your playing partners and then a ruling will be established in the . Once you are on the green you may only move your ball one face length in any direction but no closer to the hole. Birdies are given on the 5’s and pars are given if the score is worse than birdie. No pros are allowed to play in this event.

PRIZES $30 closest to the pin prize on both 4 and 8 each week (must have 10 teams to have both closest to the pins).

A skin is won for each hole with the lowest score. A skin is “cut” if more than one team obtains the same score (ex: If 2 teams birdie the same hole, and there is no eagle on that hole, the hole is cut). For each hole won, the money will be split amongst the winning teams. There will be no payout for the low score. This is strictly a skins match for the 9 holes.

If all of the holes are cut, then a tie is declared. In this case, a putt off will occur. This putt will be done on the practice green and will be a putt of considerable length that will be chosen by an employee of Winter Pines Club. Every player on each team will have a chance to putt and the 3 closest teams to the hole will be awarded money from the skins. The payout will be 1st place gets 50 %, 2nd place will get 30%, and 3rd place will get 20%.

The entry fee is $30 for non-members and $21.25 for members, $17 from each entry will go into the cash pot. No part of the cash pot goes to Winter Pines or its Employees.
