On the pages of this Annual Report, we have grouped photos by month to showcase the wealth of events that take place here at SI. By no means is this an exhaustive list — there are simply far too many things that happen on campus during the course of a year. We offer you a few highlights to give a taste of what life is like for our students, teachers, parents and alumni. Enjoy! Each year, the school chooses a theme to help students learn more about their Ignatian roots. Last year’s theme was “contemplatives in action,” and we had much action to contemplate, including the inaugural year of the Fr. genesis Sauer Academy, our new middle school that reminds us all of our roots in San Francisco. Editor, Genesis Magazine On stage, our actors, singers, dancers and instrumentalists entertained packed theatres with stunning JESUIT COMMUNITY performances. They follow in the footsteps of some of our amazing alumni, such as Adam Jacobs ’97, the star of John T. Mitchell, S.J. ’58 Aladdin, who brought his show to San Francisco this past year. (In fact, he hosted the Fr. Sauer Academy scholars Superior for a wonderful Q&A after the performance.) Francis Jue ’81 performed in the breathtaking play and musical Soft Power, Emmy-nominated actor Darren Criss ’05 gave a tour-de-force performance in American Crime Story on TV Douglas Draper, S.J.
