And I deem it my privilege to announce that this institute sustains the same spirit for the last ten years – with a vision of ‘Pioneering Professional Education through Quality’.

I revere the moments of our first anniversary – the zeal to Provide an opportunity to the average citizen of at an affordable cost and the passion to cultivate skill based learning competing with the national and international institutions.

Accreditation Today Dhanekula Institute of Engineering & Technology is accredited with NAAC. B.Tech Programs in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering courses were accredited by National Board of Accreditation. We were confident that Computer Science and Engineering shall get accredited shortly.

Started with four courses in engineering with an intake of 240 for the year 2009-10 and today we are with 804 intake among all courses.

Present running courses in the institution were (B.Tech in CE, ME, EEE, ECE & CSE – 540, M.Tech VLSI Design – 24, CSE – 24 Diploma in CE, EEE, ME & ECE – 240 Total – 804) with an on rolls strength of 2789 pupils and an annual budget of approximately 20 crores.

New Courses-Up Coming Year For the upcoming academic year, Additional Section of 60 in ECE, one new course in UG level- Information Technology – 60, , Two in PG level M.Tech in Automobile Engineering & Environmental Engineering, were applied for approval from AICTE.

Infrastructure, staff and students are the major assets of the college promoting the values with which the institution was established.

Infrastructure: Today we have about 4,00,000 sqaure feet of built up area and every sqft in the campus is occupied today out of which 3,25,000 sqft is being used for instructional purpose, 65,000 sqft is being used for hostels and others. 100 KLD Sewage treatment plant and 1000 lit/hr RO water treatment plant for drinking water and sufficient play area for outdoor and indoor games.

233 Kw solar plant is established in the current year costed 86,00,000/- excluding subsidy from the NEDCAP.

Management started constructing new floor on the existing main building for built up area of 70,000 sqft with a budget of Rs 8 crores.

Discipline and punctuality were on the top priority with a mission to produce proficient, qualified and socially responsible engineering personnel required to face the challenges of the country.

We strongly believe that along with the regular curriculum and skill development programs, Co-curricular and sporting activities enhance the overall personality development of students and even bring a positive impact on academic performance of students.

Curriculum learning is not limited to class room learning or teaching it is strengthened by Industrial Visits We take up Industrial visits as part of curriculum to create real time exposure of industry process and environment, about 28 industrial visits were conducted in the current academic year till now for undergraduate engineering students and were in 2426 students visited industries like Dr.Narla Tata Rao Thermal Power Plant-Vijayawada, Efftronics Services Pvt Ltd, KCP Sugars IND COR Company – Vuyyru, Doordarshan Kendra-Vijayawada, Hindustan Coca Cola Bevareges, Radar Station - MTM , Mohan Sprintex India Limited , The mineral development corporation of -Autonagar-Vijayawada, 220KV/132KV/33KV Substation – Chillakallu – Jaggayyapet, G.S.Electricals -New Autonagar –Vijayawada, Electric loco shed - Near milk project – Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board, Ultra Tech Ready Mix - Vaddeswaram, Municipal water treatment plant - Machilipatnam, Polavaram & Pattiseema Projects, PhyCARE Services India Pvt.Ltd – Vijayawada, SIGNUM Digital Networks Private Limited, Charvikent ITES Private Limited, ACRUX IT Services Private Limited, Sangam dairy-Vadlamudi, Harsha Liners and The lorry owners association - Ambapuram. Skilling India Skill development has been considered one of the critical aspects for job. India has unique demographic advantage with more than 60% of the population is in young age group. But in order to get dividend from such large work force, employability has to be improved. As per the Current statistics only 10% to 20% were employable, others need to be trained to get employable. Hence we believe in skill development. Dhanekula Institute of Engineering & Technology trained 1840 students in 19 skills namely Qcad, Blender, Revit Architecture, Revit Structure, Internet of Things, PLC, Dessault 3D Experience(Catia), PROGRAMING IN C, PCB Design, Cloud Computing_101 Modules, VMware –Network Virtualization, Auto CAD(civil), Rivet software(civil), CNC Milling & Turning, NX Essentials, Digital Literacy, through various centers of excellences like oracle academy, Dassault 3D Experience Centre, Intel Centre of Excellence and CM Skill Centre in the campus.

Skilling to end up with documented proof by Certification: Hence we insist our students to complete certification of the skills they got trained. About 500 students completed their certification on various platforms 1000 students to be completed their certification in respective courses, on testing platforms like IIT Bombay, Udemy, Dassault, NPTEL, Oracle Corporation, Auto Desk Inventor, etc.
