This firm guideas w designed to bring together qualified individuals and quality public accounting firms throughout Georgia. The 100+ firms listed include contact information, as well as information on firms looking for qualified students (for internships or beginning staff accountants) or individuals looking for part-time, seasonal, or alternative work schedules who may have some prior experience. The Georgia Society of CPAs hopes this will be a valuable resource for you as you prepare for your future. The Society can also help job candidates in their quest for employment with the web based Career Center. Students need to keep up on new developments in the profession and to cultivate relationships with the thousands of CPAs already out there. The Student Membership allows you to do that, plus a whole lot more. Who can join? Membership is open to all college students: freshman, sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students. Students must attend a Georgia college or university. How much does it cost? GSCPA student members pay a one time fee of $25. You will never be billed again. What’s in it for me? Extreme Networking The GSCPA offers many networking opportunities where students can meet CPAs that will help build their professional network and participate in Society programs that will enhance their resume. Chapter Participation - Each student may choose a local chapter to join, for no additional cost, based on their location. Student members are invited to all chapter meetings and events. Many local chapters offer educational programs at reduced rates. Professional Development Seminar - GSCPA student members are invited to attend the annual student banquets held throughout the state. Local professionals in public practice, government, and industry will share the secrets of their success and words of wisdom with attendees.
