WGTE Public Media is dedicated to enabling personal development and civic improvement by the innovative use of technology to educate, enlighten, engage, enrich, entertain, empower and explore.

WGTE, a Regional Asset WGTE Public Media continues to feature the best national and regional programs and is our community’s premiere source for original and local programs that educate, inspire, entertain and inform. We provide local and meaningful content, available whenever and however viewers and listeners wish: traditional over-the-air digital TV broadcast, FM radio broadcast from four stations (WGTE FM, WGLE, WGBE, and WGDE, collectively known as FM 91), as well as online streaming, multiple web-based products, public events and professional development workshops for educators.

Early Learning Gave away 303 Spanish and bilingual First Books to children and families who are clients of Adelante Latino Resource Center. 1,803 First Books given to children and families who are clients of Adelante Latino Resource Center, WSOS Head Start, East Toledo Family Center, Toledo Collaborative Head Start and FOCUS Toledo. 68 educators for Kids Unlimited afterschool program attended an anti-bullying workshop, presented by WGTE Early Learning. 406 early childhood caregivers attended 30 Ready to Learn professional development workshops, conducted by WGTE staff. 57 children entered WGTE’s Share a Story Contest, sponsored by The Conda Family. 1,264 families attended WGTE’s free Family Fun Day, sponsored by The Conda Family.
