1 Fox Sports Hobbs DALLAS COWBOYS 2015 Football Magazine By Tony Baker The Dallas Cowboys surprised everyone other than themselves last season when they won the NFL Eastern Conference with a 12-4 record. Going into 2015, the Cowboys hope to be playing in the Super Bowl, something that the Boys have not done since 1995. The Cowboys were blessed at the quarterback position last season. Tony Romo only missed one game with a transverse process fracture. The biggest reason for this was twofold. First, the Dallas offensive line Football Football which may be the best in the NFL FOX SPORTS HOBBS was able to keep him upright and second, the team rushed the ball 508 times. The Cowboy offense DALLAS COWBOYS was diversified enough that it 2 Fox Sports Hobbs DALLAS COWBOYS 2015 Football Magazine By Tony Baker rushed the ball 508 times and passed the ball 506. That will be difficult this season because of the loss of DeMarco Murray in free agency. Murray accounted for 2,261 all- purpose yards and that will be tough to replace. The Cowboys brought in Darren McFadden from Oakland in hope of reviving his career and taking some of the burden of losing Murray away. Expect Dallas to use a running back by committee approach. McFadden and Joseph Randle will take most of the handoffs, but expect the Cowboys to add another back before the regular season begins. The receiver Football position is pretty solid with Dez Bryant, Terrance Williams and Cole Beasley manning the position. Jason Witten will FOX SPORTS HOBBS take care of the tight end position.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 11/10/19 http://twitter.com/NFL345 SEVEN FROM SUNDAY – WEEK 10 A look at seven statistical highlights from games played at 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. ET on Sunday, November 10, the tenth week of the 2019 season. • Baltimore quarterback LAMAR JACKSON completed 15 of 17 pass attempts (88.2 percent) for three touchdowns and zero interceptions for a 158.3 rating, the highest attainable mark, and added a career-long 47-yard touchdown run in the Ravens’ 49-13 win over Cincinnati. Jackson, who also had a 158.3 rating in Week 1, became the second quarterback to record a passer rating of 158.3 (minimum 10 attempts) in multiple games within a single season in NFL history, joining BEN ROETHLISBERGER (two games in 2007). Ravens cornerback MARCUS PETERS had an 89-yard interception return for a touchdown in the win. Along with Peters’ 67-yard interception return for a touchdown in Week 7 and MARLON HUMPHREY’s 70-yard fumble recovery touchdown in Week 9, Baltimore is the first team since 1970 to record a defensive touchdown of at least 65 yards in three consecutive games. Peters has returned six interceptions for touchdowns in his five-year career, tied with Pro Football Hall of Famer LEM BARNEY (six) for the second-most by a player in his first five seasons in league annals. Only Pro Football Hall of Famer KEN HOUSTON (nine) had more. • New York Giants rookie quarterback DANIEL JONES had 308 yards and four touchdowns while Arizona rookie quarterback KYLER MURRAY passed for 324 yards and three touchdowns with one interception in Week 10.

  • Nfl Season Heads Into Second Half
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 10/31/17 http://twitter.com/nfl345 NFL SEASON HEADS INTO SECOND HALF November has arrived and the NFL season enters its second half. At the midpoint, there are nine teams with a .700 or better winning percentage, led by the 7-1 (.875) Philadelphia Eagles. Since 1990, when the current 12-team playoff format was adopted, nearly 97 percent (60 of 62, 96.8 percent) of the previous teams to start 7-1 or better advanced to the postseason. Through the first eight weeks, 16 teams have a winning record. Two divisions – AFC East (New England 6-2, Buffalo 5-2, Miami 4- 3) and NFC South (New Orleans 5-2, Carolina 5-3, Atlanta 4-3) – each have three teams with a winning record. The first half of the season has seen thrilling comebacks and close finishes, but the excitement will only intensify as the playoff push begins. And there’s still plenty of football to be played so don’t count teams out yet. Since 2000, 44 teams have reached the halfway point of their season with a .500 or below winning percentage and advanced to the playoffs, including at least one in each season. Last year, there were four such teams: Detroit (4-4), Green Bay (4-4), Miami (4-4) and Pittsburgh (4-4). Of those 44 clubs, seven have advanced to the Conference Championship Game, including both the Packers and Steelers last season. The 2001 New England Patriots reached the midway point with a 4-4 record and went on to win Super Bowl XXXVI.
