Letters Home puts recent Afghanistan and Iraq wars front and center by bringing to life actual letters written by soldiers serving in the Middle East. The play gives audiences a powerful portrait of the soldier wEDNESDAY experience during wartime. Although the title of the play implies that all the letters are from soldiers, the piece includes a few letters nOvember from parents of soldiers. These letters were written under difficult 18 circumstances; the disorientation of training, deployment, separation 2015 7:30pm from family, combat, and occupation duties. Heritage Center events welcome children who are accompanied by a parent and who are able to sit quietly for the duration of the concert. All children are required to have a ticket and to occupy their own seat. If a child creates a disturbance you will be asked to leave the hall or theatre out of courtesy to the performers and other patrons. Stollers and infant car seats are prohibited inside performance facilities.

Patrons with special needs should notify the box office at the time of ticket purchase. Handicapped parking, wheelchair seating, hearing assist devices, and other special services will be provided as available and on a “best effort” basis. Sign language interpretation requests will be fulfilled pending sufficient advance notice and availability of interpreters. Elevators are available to access all levels of Heritage Center. Sound enhancement is offered through hearing-assisted listening devices. Devices are available at no extra charge upon request through a House Manager or usher. ID required.

Heritage Center events are only cancelled if performers are unable to perform due to weather conditions. No refunds will be issued to audience members who are unable to attend a scheduled performance.

Tickets for Heritage Center events may be donated back to the box office for resale. Tickets that are returned at least 48 hours in advance are considered tax-deductible donations. A receipt of your donation can be provided upon request. All tickets are non-refundable.

Enrich your theatergoing experience by listening to a guest artist speak prior to select “Live at Heritage” Performing Arts Series events. Lectures provide background insights into the performance world of our visiting artists. free admission. Most lectures are held in the babka Theatre directly across the corridor from the bisignano Art Gallery. Doors open 15 minutes prior to lecture. All lectures are 30 minutes in length from 6:30 to 7:00 p.m. Oftentimes when pre-show lectures are not offered, special concerts are offered on the Cyber Café Knapp Stage.
