SEASON KICKS OFF AT VIRGINIA ON AUG. 30 — UCLA (ranked #7 in both the the Associated Press and the Coaches polls) opens the 2014 football season on Saturday, Aug. 30 at Noon ET/ 9 a.m. PT in Scott Stadium (61,500-grass) at the University of Virginia. The game will be televised by ESPN with Bob Wischusen, Matt Millen and Quint Kessenich on the scene. The Bruin IMG Radio Network (Chris Roberts, Matt Stevens and Wayne Cook) will radio broadcast the contest on 570am Fox Sports Radio LA. The game will also be aired on SIRIUS (Ch. 84), XM (Ch. 84). UCLA will open in the month of August for the third straight season and will begin on the road for the fourth time in fi ve seasons (2010 L at Kansas State, 2011 L at Houston, 2012 W at Rice, 2013 W at home over Nevada).
