Chairman Waldrip called the regular session meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Arkansas to order at 12:59 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, in Little Rock, Arkansas. 1. Approval of Minutes of Regular Meeting Held March 28-29, 2018: Upon motion by Trustee Nelson and second by Trustee Pryor, the minutes of the regular meeting held March 28-29, 2018 were approved. Chairman Waldrip called on Trustee Gibson to convene the Academic and Student Affairs Committee Meeting at 1:00 p.m.; called on Trustee Harriman to convene the Audit and Fiscal Responsibility Committee at 1:19 p.m.; called on Co-Chairs Harriman and Eichler to convene the Joint Hospital and Audit and Fiscal Responsibility Committees Combined Meeting at 2:48 p.m. and called on Trustee Eichler to convene the Joint Hospital Committee Meeting at 2:52 p.m. The March 23, 2018 meetings concluded at 3:22 p.m. A reception for all attendees immediately followed in the Windgate Center of Art + Design. On Thursday, March 24, 2018, Chairman Waldrip reconvened the meeting and called on Trustee Goodson to convene the Athletics Committee at 8:32 a.m. and called on Trustee Goodson to convene the Buildings and Grounds Committee at 8:51 a.m. He reconvened the regular session of the Board at 9:18 a.m. 2. Report on Academic and Student Affairs Committee Meeting Held May 23, 2018 and Approval of Actions Taken: Chair Goodson reported that the Academic and Student Affairs Committee met on May 23, 2018. Trustee Gibson moved that the actions of the Committee be approved by the Board. Trustee Broughton seconded the motion, and the following resolutions were adopted: 2.1 Approval of Recommended Tuition and Fees, All Campuses: Tuition and Fees for all campuses were approved as follows: Board of Trustees May 23-24, 2018 Page 5 WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the University of Arkansas asserts its singular focus on student success as evidenced by student retention and graduation; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS THAT the proposed tuition and fees for the 2018- 2019 fiscal year for the University of Arkansas campuses are hereby adopted and approved.
