The most modern city in its area. HISTORY OF GAZIANTEP Gaziantep carries traces and artifacts of the Paleolithic, Neolithic, Chalcolithic, Bronze, Hittite, Hurri - Mitanni, Assyrian, Persian, Alexander the Great, the Kingdom of Seleucids, Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk, Memluks, Dulkadiroglu and Ottoman period to the present day.
