2019 CORPUS CHRISTI HOOKS FINAL REPORT 66-73 | 4th in TL South Division, 7.0 GB | 6th Overall in Texas League 2019 in Review: The Corpus Christi Hooks posted their second losing record since 2015, going 2019 FOR THE RECORD 66-73 (.475) overall to finish last in the four-team Texas League South Division. The Hooks were sixth in the eight-team Texas League, ahead of Springfield (60-80) and Northwest Arkansas (57-81). 1st Half: 33-36, 3rd in South First Half: At 33-36, the Hooks finished 3rd in the South Division first half race, which ended on 2nd Half: 33-37, 4th in South Monday, June 17 vs. Arkansas. Corpus Christi finished 1.5 games behind first-half champion Amarillo Long Winning Streak: 5 Games (8/11-8/15) and 0.5 games behind Midland as the Hooks went 3-7 over their final 10 games to conclude the half. In 98 games with the Hooks, he hit .306 (115-for-376, 16 HR, 65 R, 70 RBI, 48 BB, 4 SB, .393 Wins: Cristian Javier/Bryan Abreu (6) OBP, .906 OPS), leading the Texas League in OBP and OPS.
