And what a great night it was, Bruce Jarvis with roughly 100 members and guests on hand to honor these new inductees 2 Keynote Speaker as they were recognized for their contribution to our club and to the sport of motor racing. Glen Carter Crew 7 Chief Award—2017 Induction of the “Class of 2017” brings the total membership in our Hall of Fame to 147. For this special “Year in Review” edi- tion of the Belchertown Sentinel, our editorial staff compiled an overview look at the top news stories published this year. January At the start of the calendar year, 2020 ushered in grant funding for projects such as the $1 million grant for rebuilding the infrastruc- ture at Sportshaven Mobile Home Park was awarded to the town on Jan. 2. The funds from the state Department of Housing and Community Development will be used to improve the water and septic systems at the park, where residents of about 45 manufac- tured homes have been dealing with substandard conditions for decades.
