Community Trust Education Project Workers

Stoke City Football Club of the English is looking to recruit experienced Project Workers to support Community Trust operations at the and in the area.

This varied role involves supporting the Community Trust Education Team to deliver a range of educational and personal development programmes to young people. This is a fast-paced and multi-faceted role supporting a variety of young people aged 13 – 25. The Education Team Project Worker will work alongside staff to develop and deliver a range of interventions to support work in the following areas:

• NEET/Unemployed young people • Vulnerable young people involved in youth violence and anti social behaviour • Supporting young people in the transition from school to work and into adulthood.

Our key priorities are to support young people to improve emotional wellbeing, resilience and personal strengths and to improve skills and career decisions to best prepare young people for adulthood.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate good attention to detail, strong organisational and planning skills, and will have the ability to deliver both group work and one to one support whilst meeting tight deadlines. Experience and a proven track record of working with a range of young people are essential.

The positions will be offered on a fixed term basis and requires a high degree of flexibility to cover days, evenings and occasional weekends on a 5 in 7 basis.

Owing to the nature of this post a DBS disclosure will be undertaken before a final offer can be made.
