Last Date of issue : 25.03.2020 upto 2:00 P.M. from office of the Assistant Quotation Papers Engineer, Baruipur Highway Sub-Division, Public Works (Roads) Directorate, Baruipur Kulpi Road, Baruipur, Kolkata – 700 144. 3 Last Date of receiving : 26.03.2020 upto 3-00 P.M. in the tender box kept in the Quotation chamber of Assistant Engineer, Baruipur Highway Sub- Division, Public Works (Roads) Directorate. The quotation will be opened on the same day in presence of all participants or their representative after 3-30 P.M. at the above mentioned office address. Terms and Conditions: 1) Rate for the above mentioned work should be quoted as per Km basis inclusive of all the ancillary items such as traffic survey, field survey by total station, various tests of soil and existing hard crusts and preparation of P.P.T and final submission of detail project report for 6(six) sets in hard copy and 1(one) in soft copy. 2) Intending quotationers will have to quote their rate inwords and figures distinctly in the enclosed Price Schedule considering of all incidental charges, taxes and duties, if any and alsoin own letter head. 3) The quotationers before quoting their rates should acquaint themselves with the site condition. 4) No extra claims will be entertained on the ground of site condition or any other reasons. 5) The work is to be completed within the stipulated time. 6) Successful quotationers will have to execute the Tender Agreement in specific W.B.F. No.2911(i)/(ii) form in Triplicate along with requisite Earnest Money @ 2.0% of the Gross amount in the shape of Bank Draft from any authorised Bank in favour of the “Executive Engineer, South 24 Parganas Highway Division, P.W. On the basis of findings after field tests and the subsequent laboratory test on the soil samples and CVD data, the existing carriageway of the road should be designed as per guideline of IRC- SP-72 and MORD Specification 2004 and other codeswhich are applicable for village roads in the D.P.R. for the road stretches under investigation and shall be prepared and submitted in 6 (six) hard copiesalongwith supplying of DVD’s containing Video Graph and PPT.The submission should also be made in soft copies of the D.P.R. All the field test results and the laboratory test results in proper format and all other details shall be incorporated in the D.P.R. 2. For improvement of the existing road formation to single lane standards long-section and cross- sections (at the interval of acceptable norms for straight reaches and on curves) exact requirement of earthwork should be worked-out based on the cross sections / L-sections drawn as per IRC- SP-19-2001. 3. Topographical survey should be incorporated with the D.P.R. As per IRC-SP-19-2001 understanding of the horizontal profile of the road. (Electrical pole, Telephone Pole, Trees, Ponds other side structures etc. are to be shown in details). 4. The Agency should collect the details data of existing bridge and culvert and made suggest for necessary improvement of reconstruction. 5. On the basis of pavement condition survey and photographs, the agency should design the proposed road structure and the data shall be incorporated in the D.P.R. 6. Details estimate shall also be prepared and incorporated in the D.P.R. for entire road stretches. D.P.R. shall include: a. Google Index map b. Report c. Pavement Condition Survey d. Traffic Census e. It is also a time in which we step into a new season, and take hold of new opportunities to make greater strides for our families, our beloved country and ourselves.
