(“Sprint”) has reviewed the State of Nevada Purchasing Division’s Request for Proposals (“RFP”) for Wireless Voice Service, Wireless Broadband Service, Accessories and Equipment. We understand that the State of Nevada is acting as the lead state for the Western States Contracting Alliance (“WSCA”). We have a long standing relationship with WSCA and a proven track record of providing services to your members nationwide. Sprint is eager to continue to build on our long-standing partnership and have provided this document in response to your need for Wireless Voice Service (Band 1), Wireless Broadband Service (Band 2), and Accessories and Equipment (Band 3). Separate Tabs for each Band are included in this proposal per Amendment 2, Question #34. By selecting Sprint, it will enable your WSCA members to benefit from a committed provider for voice, wireless and Internet services that offers a package of tailored solutions and innovations such as 4G service. Sprint has a strong history of providing services to the public sector. We will continually work to improve the degree of coverage, provide the highest caliber of service, and support newly emerging data and technologies to present cost advantages and deliver better value to WSCA members. Our innovative wireless solutions help public sector agencies to increase flexibility, collaboration and productivity and enable them to provide economic and social growth potential for their communities. ♦ State and Local Government Agencies – Improve public services and fiscal accountability with accurate mobile data capture by utilizing the latest mobile technology to maintain local infrastructure for constituents while balancing budgets ♦ Continuity of Government - Utilize the latest in mobile technology to resume business after a disruptive event ♦ Law Enforcement/Emergency Response – Heighten emergency readiness, safety and security with the ability to easily capture, access, and compare relevant data to make fast, informed decisions in time of crisis Sprint offers a robust suite of wireless productivity-enhancing technologies, such as wireless voice, Mobile Broadband, E-mail/PIM, Mobile Business Applications and IP Convergence to empower WSCA members to work securely and quickly from any location. WSCA members will continue to benefit from comprehensive communication services through Sprint, leveraging our integrated wireless platforms and applications. Our current 3G network, which is launched in 99% of our network areas, coupled with the launching 4G network will provide WSCA members with superior connection speeds. Sprint 4G Services promises to bring faster speeds (up to five times faster than current 3G wireless devices) and greater mobile Internet convenience to customers. It will enable a completely new range of devices, applications and uses for our customers. What this means is new interactive communications, high- speed Internet browsing, social networking tools, local and location-centric services and multimedia services including music, video, mobile TV and on-demand products through the Internet.
