WELCOME Dave Bourne, Chair of Augusta County Republican Committee Meeting called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. on April 20, 2021 at Common Ground, Fishersville, VA. The meeting was conducted in person and by Zoom. Dave welcomed everyone participating acknowledging the large turnout. TREASURER’S REPORT Kirk Barley, Treasurer Presented budget MOTION Motion by Kirk Barley that we approve this budget for this fiscal year 2020-2022 Seconded by Scott Cline and approved NEW BUSINESS

RWGA UPDATE Anne Seaton, President Invitation to join RWGA. Normally 3rd Thursday of each month but this month’s (April) meeting on the 4th Thursday BOARD OF SUPERVISORS UPDATE Gerald Garber, Chair Update on the jail. Three county board chairs and two city mayors met to discuss critical conditions of the Middle River Regional Jail. Augusta County increased budget to fix issues of the jail that we have an obligation to maintain. Number of state prisoners – which were moved per state guidelines. Common Ground no votes were taken to build new beds. Unsafe conditions –not a working kitchen or working laundry. Criminal Justice – Regional commission to look at what is needed PARTY CANVASS Dave Bourne discussed date difference on Party Canvass Call with April 16, 2021 as date and Delegate’s application form with April 17, 2021 date. Applications received on April 17, 2021 were . documented with date and time received. Scott Seaton in support of the decision stated the RPV Party Plan page 18, that a party canvass passed and then published, but published with a date it is the published date. RPV Party Plan supports MOTION Motion by Scott Cline as a committee to support Chair’s decision and accept all forms Seconded by Scott Seaton and approved. CHAIRMAN’S REMARKS AND ADJOURNMENT Dave Bourne Chair, spoke on unity of ACRC.closing with The Lord’s Prayer MOTION A motion by Scott Cline to adjourn Seconded by Scott Cline and approved Dave Bourne, Chair adjourned the meeting at 8:28 PM.
