SOMERSET ORDER OF MERIT 2018
This is the third year for the Handicap system. Points are still calculated from the preceding years competitions but the shots are now from 0 to 5 shots (as opposed to 0, 2 or 4 shots). This is to stop so many players having the same shots. The Top 11, as shown below, have been awarded nil shots, those in positions 12 - 22 = 1 shot, 23 -33 = 2 shots, 34-45 = 3 shots, 46 -52 = 4 shots and positions 53-73 = 5 shots. All players without a handicap will be awarded the maximum of 6 shots.
