Centre Manager for the Pankhurst Centre

We are looking for a talented individual to join our team to assist in the development of an exciting new partnership between the Pankhurst Trust and Manchester Women’s Aid.

Job Title: Centre Manager Hours: 35 per week Salary: £27, 849 Duration: Fixed term until June 2014

The Pankhurst Centre was the of the world famous leaders of the Movement, and her daughters , Christabel and Adela. Today, the Pankhurst Centre is a place of cultural interest, offering a heritage centre for visitors and activities for women including a weekly drop in and a choir.

The post holder will be responsible for developing and maintaining the highest standards of operational efficiency in the Pankhurst Centre. In addition, the post holder will be expected to lead the centre in line with the values and ethos of the organisation to create a welcoming and accessible centre.

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who will play a key role in the development and future sustainability of women focused services and the heritage centre. Our ideal candidate will be experienced in managing a public/community building with proficient grant writing skills and passionate about women’s rights.
