1. Minnesota has allowed an NHL-low 29 total goals in 16 games this season, including a total of 10 goals allowed in its last 10 games dating back to Oct. 25. In those 10 games, the Wild has allowed just five even-strength goals, in addition to five power-play goals. Minnesota also leads the NHL in shutouts (4), SV% (.941) and goals against/game (1.81).

2. The Wild and Avalanche face each other for the second time in two weeks, after Colorado earned a 1-0 win in Denver Nov. 5. The Wild has posted an 8-2-1 record against the Avalanche in the last 11 meetings, including five shutout victories. Minnesota has outscored Colorado, 33-14, and has outshot the Avalanche, 368-276, in those 11 games.

3. The Wild leads all Western Conference teams and ranks fourth in the NHL with a plus-13 goal differential this season.

4. The Wild ranks T-5th in the NHL with an 88.0% success rate on the penalty kill (44-of-50). Minnesota has also scored two shorthanded goals this season. Last season, Minnesota was tied with Carolina for fewest times shorthanded (204) but ranked 27th in the NHL with a 77.9% PK success rate (159-of-204). He has allowed nine goals (four at even-strength) in his last nine games since Oct. 25, stopping 270-of-279 shots in that span to account for a .968 SV%, a 1.01 GAA and four shutouts. Since Oct. 20, the 30-year-old has posted a 6-4-1 record, 1.19 GAA and .962 SV%. Since his Wild debut on Jan. 15, 2015, Dubnyk is 66-40-9 with a 2.05 GAA, .928 SV% and 14 shutouts in 119 games – leading the NHL in games, shutouts, SV% and GAA, and ranking second in wins in that span amongst NHL goalies with at least 60 games played.

10. Mikael Granlund owns 14 points (3-11=14) in 15 career games against Colorado. The 24-year-old scored with 45 seconds left in regulation Thursday, his second GWG of the season – tied for the team lead. He owns six points (4-2=6) in the last eight games, and has nine points (4-5=9) in 16 games this season, ranking T-2nd on the Wild in goals and fourth in scoring. Last season, he set career highs in points, goals, shots, games played, faceoffs won and taken, GWG, hits and TOI/game.

11. Ryan Suter leads the Wild plus/minus (+9) and multi-point games (3) this season, and ranks T-1st on the team in assists (8) and second in points (12). The alternate ranks third in the NHL in TOI/game (27:10) and is T-9th amongst all NHL defensemen in points. The 31-year-old scored four goals in his first 14 games this season – a mark he reached in his 23rd game last season, ending the year matching his career high in goals (8) and setting career highs in assists (43) and points (51).

12. Mikko Koivu leads all Wild players with 40 points (15-25=40) in 60 career games against Colorado. The Wild captain sits at 399 career NHL assists, looking to become the 25th active NHL player to hit the 400-assist milestone, and 263rd player all-time. He is the franchise all-time leader in assists, points, games played, shots on goal, power-play points, faceoffs won, faceoffs taken and multi-point games. The 33-year-old has six points (2-4=6) this season, leading the team in faceoffs taken and faceoffs won (T-4th in NHL).

13. Eric Staal leads the Wild in goals (5), points (13) and shots (49) this season, including 10 points (2-8=10) in the last 11 games. With 794 NHL points (330-464=794) in 945 career games, he is one of four NHL players who have played at least 900 games while tallying at least 300 goals, 400 assists and 700 points since entering the NHL in 2003-04 (Iginla, Marleau, D. Sedin).

14. Zach Parise owns 30 points (13-17=30) in 26 career games against the Avalanche. The alternate captain returned to the Wild lineup Tuesday after missing six games with a lower-body injury. He has six points (2-4=6) in 10 games this season, including his 300th NHL goal on Oct. 23. He is the NHL’s goals leader among all active American-born players.

MOVING UP THE FRANCHISE LISTS With two goals on Oct. 29 in Arizona, Matt Duchene passed (160) for ninth place on the franchise's all-time goals list with 161. He is now four shy of Valeri Kamensky (166) for eighth place and five shy of Alex Tanguay (167) for seventh. With 27 career game-winning goals, Duchene is one behind Tanguay (28) for seventh in that category. Duchene appeared in his 500th NHL game on Oct. 22 at Florida. He became the 20th player in franchise history to appear in 500 games and the 10th in Avalanche history. Duchene is the fourth player drafted by Colorado to play 500 games in an Avs sweater, joining Stastny, Tanguay and John-Michael Liles.

AVS GET BUSY AFTER LIGHT OCTOBER The Avalanche's November schedule features 14 games, nine at home. Colorado played only seven games last month, its fewest ever in the month of October. The previous low was nine games in October of 1979, 1998 and 2003. It tied Columbus for the fewest games in the NHL during the opening month. The Avalanche had only two home games in October.

HERE’S TO THE NEW BOSS Jared Bednar was hired on Aug. 25, 2016, becoming the seventh head coach in Avalanche history and the 15th in franchise history. Bednar, 44, guided the Columbus Blue Jackets’ AHL affiliate, the Lake Erie Monsters, to the 2016 last season. The 2016- 17 campaign marks Bednar’s 15th season in professional coaching and his seventh as a head coach. IRONMEN Carl Soderberg owns the longest active ironman streak on the team at 185 consecutive games, a career high. Jarome Iginla ranks second at 180 straight games. Iginla has dressed in all 82 games in each of his two years with the Avalanche and in 11 seasons overall, the most 82-game campaigns in NHL history.
