Tricia Johnston named CNHI West Virginia publisher

Tricia Johnston has been promoted to West Virginia publisher of the Times West Virginian in Fairmont, The Register-Herald in Beckley and the Bluefield Daily Telegraph.

Paige Windsor named new leader of Montgomery Advertiser

Veteran newsroom leader and Auburn University alumna Paige Windsor has been named executive editor of the Montgomery Advertiser, as well as the Alabama state editor for parent company Gannett, a job that includes oversight of the Gadsden Times and the Tuscaloosa News.

Jamee Pierson named Newton Daily News editor

After three years as news editor for the Jasper County weeklies, Jamee A. Pierson has been named editor of the Newton Daily News in Iowa. The announcement was made following the departure of former editor Pam Pratt.
