These new associates join eleven other attorneys hired in 2014, as hiring momentum increases. “This year’s fall class is impressive, and we’re especially pleased to see so many graduates of our successful summer apprentice program,” said Stanley A. Twardy, Managing Partner. “Equally encouraging is our overall increase in hiring in 2014, which includes new partners in rapidly expanding practice areas. These new hires include Robert Appleton, White Collar Defense and Internal Investigations; David Greenbaum, Intellectual Property; and Thomas Havens, Energy and Utility Law.” The eight new associates are: Kenton Atta-Krah, White Collar Department. Atta-Krah was a summer apprentice with Day Pitney in 2013. In the summer of 2012, he was a summer associate with Bentsi-Enchill, Letsa & Ankomah in Accra, Ghana. He received his J.D. from Duke University School of Law, where he was vice president of the Duke Black Law Student Association, a member of the WTO Moot Court Team, and recipient of the R.C. Kelly Mordecai Scholarship. He earned a B.A. with high honors from Wesleyan University. He will be resident in the firm’s Stamford, Connecticut office. Tekhara L. Kimber, Private Equity & Finance Department. Kimber was a summer apprentice with Day Pitney in 2013. In the summer of 2012, she was an intern to the Honorable Vanessa L. Bryant of the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut. Kimber received her J.D. from Boston University School of Law and her B.A., summa cum laude, from Boston University. She will be resident in the firm’s Hartford, Connecticut office. Evan M. Lazerowitz, Complex Commercial Litigation Department. Lazerowitz was a summer apprentice with Day Pitney in 2012. Prior to joining Day Pitney, he was a judicial clerk to the Honorable Mitchel E. Ostrer at the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division and previously interned in the Health and Human Services Division of the New Jersey Attorney General’s office. He also interned with the Honorable Anthony Graziano of the New Jersey Superior Court. Lazerowitz received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where he was a notes editor of the Georgetown Law Journal. He earned a B.A. from Johns Hopkins University. He will be resident in the firm’s Parsippany, New Jersey office. Nicole M. Magdziak, Real Estate, Environmental & Land Use Department. Magdziak was a summer apprentice with Day Pitney in 2013. She was an intern with the Office of Regional Counsel of the Environmental Protection Agency Region 2 and also interned with the Honorable Denise Cobham, New Jersey Superior Court. Magdziak received her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law, where she was vice president of the Environmental Society, symposium editor of the Seton Hall Legislative Journal, and recipient of the Presidential Scholarship. She earned a B.S. from the University of North Carolina. She will be resident in the firm’s Parsippany, New Jersey office. Sunita Paknikar, Complex Commercial Litigation Department. Paknikar was a summer apprentice with Day Pitney in 2013. In the summer of 2012, she interned with the Massachusetts Department of Corrections in the Legal Counsel’s Office and worked as a research assistant to Professor Michael Harper. She received her J.D. from Boston University School of Law and a B.A. from the University of Michigan. She will be resident in the firm’s Hartford, Connecticut office. Andraya B. Pulaski, Complex Commercial Litigation Department. Pulaski was a summer apprentice with Day Pitney in 2012. Prior to joining Day Pitney, she was a judicial clerk to the Honorable Robert E. Beach, Jr. at the Connecticut Appellate Court. Previously, she interned with the Honorable Linda Pearce Prestley with the Family Court of the Connecticut Superior Court. She received her J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where she was the senior articles editor of the Connecticut Public Interest Law Journal. She received a B.A. from Providence College. She will be resident in the firm’s Hartford, Connecticut office. Arielle B. Sepulveda, Employment & Labor Department. Sepulveda was a summer apprentice with Day Pitney in 2012. Prior to joining Day Pitney, she was a judicial clerk to the Honorable Rosemary Gambardella at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey. She was also an intern with the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General in the Special Projects Division. Sepulveda received her J.D. from Boston College Law School, where she was co-chair of the Lambda Law Students Association, a member of the Native American Law Students Association and a staff writer for the Law and Religion Program. She received a B.A. from the University of Southern California. She will be resident in the firm’s Parsippany, New Jersey office. Kendall Wilson, Public Securities Department. Wilson was a summer apprentice with Day Pitney in 2013. Prior to joining Day Pitney, she was an intern with Wyndham Worldwide Corporation in Corporate Services in New Jersey. Wilson also taught American government at John Adams High school, a public school in South Bend, Ind. She received her J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School where she was solicitations editor of the Journal of College and University Law, a member of the Business Law Forum and a member of the Black Law Students Association. She received a B.A. from Yale University.
