The "Discover classic Swiss specialities with all your senses" tour now allows groups to visit the places where these world- famous, traditional specialities are made. They are given unique insight into the production processes and can sample the food themselves.

The idyllic hilly landscape of the Emmental valley, with its peaceful, grazing cows and its farmhouses adorned with flowers, is the home of the world-famous Emmentaler AOP cheese and the fine biscuits produced by the leading global premium brand Kambly.

The Kambly Bretzeli, made with fresh Emmental butter, eggs and flour from the village mill, laid the foundation for the company's success 110 years ago. Kambly is the best-known and most well-loved Swiss biscuit brand and the Bretzeli are still made from the original recipe. At Kambly's home and headquarters in Trubschachen, visitors from all over the world can try their hand at baking Bretzeli – the classic among the Kambly biscuits – before sampling them straight from the oven, all under the expert supervision of the Kambly Master Confectioners. As well as freshly baked Bretzeli, they also have the unique opportunity to sample exquisite Swiss chocolate hand-made by the Master Confectioners. But this isn't the only high point of a trip to the Kambly Experience: visitors can also try more than 100 different kinds of biscuit, hear the story of how the company was founded – complete with magical animations – or simply relax with a cold or hot drink in the Kambly Café. The factory shop stocks a wide range of Kambly specialities as well as an exclusive selection of seasonal gifts. Just 30 minutes' drive from Kambly, at the Emmentaler showcase cheese dairy, the "King of cheese", Emmentaler AOP, is made with local milk. It has been produced in the valley since the 12th century. Visitors can take a tour, which will reveal why Switzerland's most famous cheese is full of holes and provide an

exclusive glimpse behind the scenes of the cheese dairy. They'll also have the opportunity to discover the full-bodied flavour of this traditional Swiss product for themselves – the dairy also offers samples of different Emmentaler AOP cheeses and a traditional local lunch.
