U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announces Global Entry enrollment events in Germany in October and November 2015. The Global Entry program allows expedited immigration and customs clearance into the United States for pre-approved, low-risk travelers.
Special enrollment events will be held October 26-29 at Frankfurt Airport, November 2-3 at U.S. Embassy Berlin, November 5-6 at Dusseldorf Airport, and November 9-11 at Munich Airport. Those who wish to participate in these enrollment events should start the process as soon as possible in order to schedule interviews.
German citizens who want to be accepted into the Global Entry program must follow these four steps
1) Preregister with German Federal Police (Bundespolizei) at the following locations: Frankfurt Airport (Terminal 1, Hall A, Level 2); Munich Airport (Terminal 2, Level 4, Room 4479); Hamburg Airport (Terminal 2, Level 1); Dusseldorf Airport (Central building, departure level); and Berlin Airport (Terminal C). Please bring a valid passport.
2) Apply for Global Entry online at www.globalentry.gov and pay a $100 non-refundable fee
3) After being provisionally approved, select an enrollment location in Germany, date, and time
4) Appear in person for the enrollment.
German citizen Global Entry members will have to reregister for Global Entry with the German Federal Police after their second year of membership.
United States citizens and lawful permanent residents who want to be accepted into the Global Entry program must follow these three steps
1) Apply for Global Entry online at www.globalentry.gov and pay a $100 non-refundable fee
2) After being provisionally approved, select an enrollment location, date, and time
3) Appear in person for the enrollment.
