We have our key man, Martin Raffauf, on the ground at the Rolex 24 at Daytona reporting for Porsche Road & Race, and he has sent a few shots of the happenings there on 23 January 2018. No running, just unloading today. Amazingly there are only five Porsches in this year’s Daytona 24 Hours, two GTLM and three GTD cars. #55 Mazda Team Joest

The Team Joest will run two Mazda factory prototype cars at Daytona this year. Here the #55 car undergoes its technical inspection. Ralph Jüttner, Joest Mazda team manager, is at left rear of the car in a white shirt. This car will be driven by Jonathan Bomarito, Harry Tincknell and Spencer Pigot
