The invention provides single chain fusions of soluble proteins fused to Oct the Fc region of an immunoglobulin via a novel linker comprising a constant region of an 10 immunoglobulin light chain linked to a CHI constant region of an immunoglobulin heavy chain. This novel linker confers favorable properties on the Fc fusion proteins of the invention such as improved bioactivity and increased half-life as compared to non-Fc fusion counterparts or as compared to prior art Fc fusion proteins. The novel Fc fusion protein scaffold as described herein may be designed to include soluble proteins of interest capable of binding or interacting with any target of interest. Preferably, the Fc fusion protein of the 2018247255 invention is a dimer. The dimer preferably forms via a disulfide bond between free cysteine residues in the hinge region of two monomeric Fc fusion proteins of the invention. The entire teachings of the above application are incorporated 5 herein by reference. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 2018247255 One strategy for increasing serum half-life of a therapeutic protein is to attach the protein to an Fc (fragment crystallizable) domain of an antibody. Many such fusion proteins 10 are capable of forming homodimers or heterodimers thereby forming antibody-like fusion protein molecules. However, many prior art approaches to Fc fusion protein engineering have limitations including, but not limited to, immunogenicity and poor pharmacokinetic properties. The present invention provides monomers and dimers of Fc fusion proteins 15 comprising novel linkers having single chain constant light (CL) and constant heavy (CHI) immunoglobulin domains. Such novel linkers are also referred to herein as scCLCHl linkers. Without limitation to a particular theory, the novel linkers of the invention reduce steric hindrance between the protein “payloads” on each of the single chain Fc fusion protein molecules when such molecules form dimers. Steric hindrance can result in losses in 20 bioactivity, inefficient dimerization or reduction in the half-life of the dimer molecule for example, due to reduced binding to the FcRn. Thus incorporation of the novel linkers of the invention may result in improvement in bioactivity, increased dimer formation, in increased half-life, and the ability to incorporate larger protein pay loads than those possible on prior Fc fusion proteins. Additionally, in some Fc proteins of the invention are able to form dimers 25 that provide a more native antibody structure around the Fc domain that may improve binding of the dimer molecules to the FcRn receptor and therefore increase the circulating half-life of the novel Fc fusion proteins of the invention as compared to prior art fusion proteins. The invention provides single chain fusions of soluble proteins fused to 10 the Fc region of an immunoglobulin via a novel linker comprising a constant region of an 5 immunoglobulin light chain (CL) linked to a CHI constant region of an immunoglobulin heavy chain (scCLCHl or scCHICL linkers). This novel linker confers favorable properties on the Fc fusion proteins of the invention such as improved bioactivity and increased half-life as compared to non-Fc fusion counterparts or as compared to prior art Fc fusion proteins. The novel Fc fusion proteins as described herein may be designed to include soluble proteins of 2018247255 10 interest capable of binding or interacting with any target of interest with high specificity and affinity. Preferably, an Fc fusion protein of the invention is a dimer. The dimers may be formed via covalent (e.g. disulfide linkages) or non-covalent interactions between single chain fusion proteins of the invention resulting in a homodimeric or heterodimeric protein 15 complex retaining the advantageous properties of an antibody molecule for use as a therapeutic molecule. In another aspect, the invention provides nucleic acids encoding the Fc fusion proteins provided herein. Also provided are vectors, including expression vectors, comprise a nucleic acid encoding any of the Fc fusion proteins described herein. Also provided are host cells 20 containing such expression vectors and methods for producing the Fc fusion proteins described herein in the host cells. The animals were divided in four groups of five animals, according to the day of euthanasia: G4, G7, G14 and G21, corresponding to the 4th, 7th, 14th and 21st day after surgery, respectively. Vaginal smears were collected from the first day of surgery until euthanasia day. After that, the vagina and uterus were removed, fixed in 10% formaldehyde and submitted to histological analysis and stained with hematoxiline and eosine. Results: All animals showed estrous cycle changes during the experiment. In 4th day, the uterus showed low action of estrogen with small number of mitosis and eosinophils as well as poor development.

Anatomical variations contribute to the misinterpretation and leads to major postoperative complications. The present study was carried out in 32 adult cadavers (5 females and 27 male cadavers) which were used during routine dissection for undergraduate medical students. The course and branches of all the ventral branches of aorta was traced. Any arterial variation was observed and recorded. Anatomical variations related to the trifurcation of coeliac trunk, origin of the inferior phrenic artery, origin of the left gastric artery, origin of the accessory hepatic artery and the origin of the accessory right colic artery were noted and documented. In two cases, left colic artery was absent and inferior mesenteric artery gave rise to 3-4 sigmoid branches. The present study highlights on the importance of arterial variations in the abdomen which should not be ignored. Hence, the accurate knowledge of such variations is important in carrying out surgical procedures in the abdomen safely and also in the interpretation of angiographic reports. This con- dition if left untreated it leads to significant morbidity because of hematochyluria, recurrent renal colic, nutritional problems due to protein losses and immuno suppres- sion resulting from lymphocyturia. Various conservative measures like bed rest, high fluid intake, low-fat diet, fat-containing medium-chain triglycerides have been de- scribed. Chyluria may be classified as mild, moderate, or severe. Many sclerosing agents have been tried as silver nitrate, povidone iodine diluted in distillated water or pure. Povidone iodine with or without dextrose solution as a sclerosing agent was used successfully in a few studies. CASE REPORT A boy of 11 year and 6 month of age presented at OPD of Imperial Hospital, Chattogram on 9th August 2019, with the H/O passage of milky urine, mostly in the morning two years without any other complaint.

They emanate from embryonic neural crest cells and are composed mainly of chromaffin cells located in the para- aortic sympathetic chain. It is a kind of pheochromocytoma which occurs on the outside of the adrenal gland. They synthesize, store and secrete catecholamines due to which they may present with symptoms of hypertension like headache, sweating and palpitation and non functional paraganglioma sometimes they may present with vague symptoms like pain abdomen and lump abdomen. Primary methods of pre-operative diagnosis include imaging techniques which also help in surgical planning and pre-operative preparation of the patient. We present a case of non- functional extra- adrenal retroperitoneal paraganglioma occurring in a 40-year-old male patient presenting with mass per abdomen. On Ultrasonongraphy, suspicion was towards a retroperitoneal mass of probable retroperitoneal cyst. CT is the investigation of choice. Surgical resection is main modality of treatment. Also, in the abdomen, mass may be palpable; this may be an incidental finding by radiologist. Radiological investigations may not differentiate this condition from other solid masses; misdiagnosis is common. Furthermore, the diagnosis is made on the basis of histopathology. ABSTRACT Background: The inferior phrenic artery is seen as an important source of collateral arterial supply to hepatocellular carcinoma, the hepatic artery being the main source. Other pathologic conditions, such as diaphragmatic or hepatic bleeding due to trauma or surgery and bleeding resulting from gastroesophageal problems ( Mallory-Weiss tear and gastroesophageal cancer ) may also be related to inferior phrenic artery. We present here a case of left inferior phrenic artery taking origin from left gastric artery, showing significance of such variation. Case Report: This was found during routine dissection of abdomen in a 60 yrs old adult male cadaver in the department of anatomy, R. G. Kar Medical College. Observations: The variation was observed in the origin of left phrenic artery. It was seen that left phrenic artery took its origin from left gastric artery. Further distribution of left phrenic artery was normal. Right phrenic artery arose normally from abdominal aorta. Conclusion: Considering the significance of inferior phrenic artery in transecatheter chemo- embolization of hepatocelluler carcinoma and gastroesophageal bleeding, the knowledge of the variant origin of inferior phrenic artery is very important not only for the anatomists, but also for the radiologists and the surgeons.

It is accounting for less than 1% of all nerve sheath tumors, with a predilection for spinal nerve involveSment. However, they can occur in other areas, such as cerebellum, acoustic nerve, sympathetic chain, heart, orbit, oral cavity, esophagus, stomach, bronchus, retroperitonium, and parotid gland. It is composed of Schwann cells and melanin pigment with 50% of the cases have psammomatous calcifications and this type of melanotic schwannoma is related to Carney complex with autosomal dominant inheritance, characterized by the association of cutaneous pigmentation, fibromyxoid tumors of the skin, myxoma of the heart, and endocrine overactivity. Most cases of melanotic schwannoma are benign, though 10% of them are malignant with metastatic potential. It is necessary to differentiate these tumors from metastatic malignant melanomas, which have a bad prognosis. There are a few theories about the etiopathogenesis of these tumors, including melanomatous transformation of Schwann neoplastic cells and phagocytosis of melanin by Schwann cells. Melanotic schwannoma has nonspecific clinical presentation and Magnetic resonance imaging is the most widely used test for the diagnosis, revealing hyperintense T1-weighted sequences and hypointense T2-weighted sequences. Total excision of this lesion is recommended and diagnostic confirmation is obtained by histological and immunohistochemical studies.
