Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council June 13, 2021 RAINFALL ADVISORY RAINFALL ADVISORY No. 5 NL_PRSD – Benguet Radar DATE ISSUED June 13, 2021 TIME ISSUED 06:06 pm REGIONS Region 1, Region 2, CAR SUBJECT RAINFALL ADVISORY No. 5 NL_PRSD – Benguet Radar WEATHER SYSTEM Monsoon Trough EFFECTS Moderate to occasionally heavy rains are being experienced over portions of Ifugao (Banaue, Hungduan, and Tinoc), and Pangasinan (Agno, Aguilar, Anda, Bani, Bugallon, and Infanta) Meanwhile, light to moderate rains are being experienced over portions of Ifugao (Hingyon and Mayoyao), Nueva Vizcaya (Ambaguio, Kayapa, and Santa Fe), and Pangasinan (Mabini, Manaoag, Mapandan, Pozorrubio, San Fabian, San Jacinto, San Nicolas, and Sta Barbara) which may persist for 1-2 hours may affect nearby areas. RECOMMENDED All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards. Residents along mountain slope are advised for possible landslides mudslides, rock slides and flash flood. Keep monitoring for updates. Emphasis should be on proactive actions: evacuation rather than rescue. Moreover, concerned offices are directed to reiterate the guidelines on personal protection and hygiene such as respiratory etiquette and hand hygiene, physical distancing, environmental, and food safety measures. Further, people living in the aforementioned areas are hereby advised to be on alert, take necessary precautions and follow the advise of their respective Local DRRMCs.
