Dr. Sharma joined the Electrical Engineering Department at IIT Ropar in 2012. He has initiated activities in the area of VLSI Design and Nanoelectronics at IIT Ropar. He is also the coordinator of the Indo-Taiwan Joint Research Centre on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (ITJRC).

Dr. Rohit Y Sharma Before joining IIT Ropar, Dr. Sharma Program Director – was a post-doctoral fellow at the PGCAIDL; Interconnect Focus Center, Georgia Coordinator-ITJRC; Tech., Atlanta. Prior to this, he Associate Professor - worked as a post-doctoral fellow at Department of Electrical the Design Automation Lab, Seoul Engineering, IIT Ropar National University, Seoul.

His current research interests include design of high-speed chip-chip and on-chip interconnects, Graphene based nanoelectronic devices and interconnects, Signal and Thermal integrity in high-speed interconnects and application of Machine Learning in advance packaging and systems. AboutIITRopar
