Renier Lemmens, Director Renier is the Visiting Professor of Fintech and Innovation, and Director of the Centre for Digital Banking & Finance, at The London Institute of Banking & Finance. He is a Venture Partner with DN Capital focusing on Fintech, and serves as Chairman of TransferGo, Divido, Mojo Mortgages, and Hostmaker. He is a Non-Executive Director at Arion Bank and recently served as Board Member of . In the past, Renier served as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PayPal Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and was Chief Operating Officer (COO) of International Retail and Commercial Banking. Renier was previously an Officer of GE Capital where he served as Chairman and CEO of Budapest Bank, and Senior Vice President for Business Development for the Americas. Renier was a partner with McKinsey & Company in London, New Delhi, and San Francisco. He holds an MSc with distinction in Computer Science and an MBA with Distinction from INSEAD, France.

Roman Matousek, Director of Programmes Roman Matousek is Professor of Financial Economics at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL). Before joining QMUL, Roman was Director of the Global Centre for Banking and Financial Innovation (GCBFI) and School Director of Research Excellence at Nottingham University Business School. Roman is also a member of the prestigious Chartered Association of Business Schools (ABS) International Committee. Roman is Distinguished International Professor at Tongji University, Shanghai, China and Honorary Professor, School of Business, University of Dundee, Scotland. He is currently working on FinTech along with his colleagues in Hong Kong and mainland China. Roman holds a PhD degree in Economics from Charles University, Czech Republic.

Helene Panzarino, Associate Director Originally a commercial banker, Helene is a highly experienced fintech Programme Director, excited entrepreneur, and educator. Helene is an adviser to several fintechs, including Yovo, a fourth-generation utility token business, and Biid, a digital identity platform based in Spain. Named a Top Ten Influencer in SME Funding, Helene is the sole author of Business Funding for Dummies (Wiley), a member of The FinTech Advisory Board for the British Standards Institute (BSI) and on the Steering Group of the Tech London Advocates (TLA) FinTech Working Group. She was listed as one of the Computer Weekly 100 Women in Tech Award 2018, and recently inducted into the St George’s Leadership Foundation at Windsor Castle.

Sabrina Del Prete, Associate Director Sabrina is the founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kore, a financial technology company. She has over 25 years of experience in financial markets, business transformation and application of new technologies in banking. Over her career, Sabrina has held senior roles at JP Morgan Chase, Barclays, and Royal (RBS). She is actively involved in the entrepreneurial community, both as a Board adviser for fintech companies and as a mentor. She currently sits on the Board of Governors of The London Institute of Banking & Finance. Sabrina holds a Masters in Finance from the London Business School and a degree in Business and Economics from the University of Turin. She has won a number of innovation awards for her work and she has been included in the Timetric Power 50 list of the most influential digital innovators in Europe.

Richard Johnson, Associate Director Richard is a specialist in the convergence of digital technology and financial services. Richard started his career at NatWest and , working retail banking, and front-line, advisory, strategic and senior line-management roles. After 20 years, he became the Strategy Director of Monitise – a technology start-up specialising in mobile banking and payments software. The business grew to a peak $2bn valuation with deployments in Europe, the US and Asia. Richard now advises businesses on their fintech strategies, as well as writing industry research and delivering executive education on fintech.
