Reincarnate Spell Expanded Reincarnate spell expanded Sample file 1 Part 1: Before you start to roll... am very happy to see you here, friend! This product is an updated version of my old roll Rolling Rule tables for Reincarnate spell. On the next pages Using my reincarnate table, you can end up rolling races you will find main table and a bunch of you don't have in your world. Or you might roll some race supplemental tables for your subraces or race that you don't think should be available for reincarnate. Or Ivariants. But before going there, please, make you can just roll up something... not very fun for the yourself comfortable and spend just few more player. To rectify that, please use one of the following minutes with me, while I explain some crucial bits. rules: Roll Again - each time you roll something inappropriate General for your game, world, or players - just roll again! Possible reincarnate options contain races and sub-races Stepping forward or backward - when you roll ONLY from official dnd products up to this date (February something inappropriate, roll also 1d4. On 1 or 2 - go of 2021). This means NO to Unearthed Arcana and backwards on the table until you reach the first race, that homebrew products. This also means YES to Plane Shifts, is appropriate. On 3 or 4 - go forwards. Eberron and Wildmount. Some races have wider roll range then others, meaning Making the table your own it's a bit more likely to roll a human then a firbolg. This is based on my belief on how reincarnate would work. If you want to customize this table to fit your If you want a more even spread - it's totally fine! In such specifications, it's possible! Simply swap out everything case, please refer to Rual of Equals. you don't have for something you have and don't be afraid to leave blank spaces where just nothing fits. You can re- Also, unlike previous version, in here you will find only roll on blank spaces, or instead, write there something like ONE main table for rolling (and supplements for figuring "move up 1" or "move down 1" to reduce amount of rolls. out your subraces). This decision was made intentionally, You can print out and do this by hand, or use any keeping ease of use in mind. Of course, this may lead to photoediting program. I personally, for some of my games, situation where you roll something inappropriate. To edit this table using printscreen and paint - works miracles handle this please use the Rolling Rule. ;) If you use this table for your own unique setting, please In situations, where you'd like to expand the table even refer to the Making the table your own on some tips further - consider rolling not d100 (which is, of course, just for how to handle it. 2 d10's) but expanding the table for d20 (tens) and d10 And lastly, you can consider Rule of Choice for your (ones). This will give you variations of up to 200 different campaigns. options. You can then add however many races you want. Everything that was left "unfilled" you can either re-roll, fill Rule of Equals with dublicates of other race options, or subtract 100 from it and see what you get. To make spread of races more equal on the table, use only the lowest number of each range spread. And re-roll if you get any other number on the roll. Rule of choice As an example, you reincarnate into a human if you roll Because many options can be disheartening to your anything in between 54 to 60. With this rule, you players, you can consider allowing a roll of 2 or 3 d100, reincarnate into a human only if you roll 54. For the 55, 56, and then choosing one. Even if all three are not super 57, 58, 59 and 60 rolls, you instead re-roll the d100. Similar exciting, I found that choice itself gives feeling of control to rule applies to every other species on the list. the player, which, in return, mitigates the initial bitterness of loss (meaning - loss of cool combos, character himself, etc). This column indicates whether you need to roll on an additional table to figure out the specific sub-race or variant of the race you rolled. In cases where you don't, it will say NO. When you do, it will indicate a number. This number corresponds to the number of the table you need to roll on. Sources Sources column in the table is there to help you figure out from where this race comes (and from which page!). It should help locate specifics when you need to or to understand at a glance if this race fits your campaign. Note, that some races are part of different sourcebooks. Their modifiers can also vary from book to book. Sub-race tables Feel free to choose instead of rolling on sub-race tables. Many tables contain different subraces because they are from different worlds, so it be might easier to just choose most appropriate instead of rolling. • Demand for Rarity: Evidence from a Collectible Good
Demand for Rarity: Evidence from a Collectible Good Jonathan E. Hughes1∗ Abstract Markets for art, coins and other collectibles, culinary delicacies and eco-tourism suggest consumers value the rarity of many goods. While empirical evidence supports higher prices for rare goods, isolating the value of rarity has proven difficult. I analyze prices for a collectible card game and show goods that are designated as rare trade at higher prices than functionally-equivalent substitutes. Importantly, I use novel features of this market to account for scarcity, observed and unobserved product characteristics and separately identify rarity effects. These results have important implications for markets ranging from luxury goods to conservation of endangered species. ∗The author thanks employees at Gamer's Guild, Matthew Butner, Kevin Starnes and seminar partic- ipants at the University of Colorado, Boulder for helpful comments. Samuel Hughes provided excellent research assistance. 1Department of Economics, University of Colorado at Boulder. 1 Introduction There are many instances where consumers appear willing to pay a premium for uncommon goods or unique experiences. For example, rare stamps and coins routinely sell for high prices at auction (Beltran, 2018; Morris, 2018, 2019; Reaney, 2014). Luxury goods makers cultivate an aura of exclusivity to sell their products at premium prices relative to func- tionally equivalent substitutes (Catry, 2003; Kapferer, 2012). Safari's or other expeditions cater to tourists who wish to view and photograph exotic animals (Cong et al., 2014; Okello, Manka, and DAmour, 2008; Reynolds and Braithwaite, 2001). The economic concept of rarity value is rooted in the notion that consumption value depends on the aggregate level of consumption across all consumers.

Perhaps betraying my fourteen-year history working on DUNGEONS & DRAGONS, Ixalan is a world of exploration and treasure, marked by ancient sites waiting to be explored by intrepid heroes. One of those sites, shown on a card in the Ix- alan set, is obviously inspired by a classic D&D adventure, The Hidden Shrine of Tamoachan.
