Regarded throughout professional baseball as the “finishing school” for top prospects •Approximately 2,600 of over 4,500 Fall Leaguers have reached since its inception in 1992, the six-team league features elite young players from every the major leagues organization in Major League Baseball. In total, the new player development system includes 179 teams across 17 leagues in 43 states and four provinces. Including the AZL and GCL, there are 209 teams across 19 leagues in 44 states and four provinces. That includes the 150 teams in the PDL and AZL/GCL along with the four partner leagues: the American Association, Atlantic League, Frontier League and Pioneer League. The long-time Triple-A structure of the International and Pacific Coast Leagues have been replaced by Triple-A East and Triple-A West. Triple-A East consists on 20 teams; all 14 from the International League, plus teams moving from the Pacific Coast League, the Southern League and the independent Atlantic League. Triple-A West is comprised of nine Pacific Coast League teams and one addition from the Atlantic League. The Schedules of Assets and Liabilities and Statements of Financial Affairs (the “Schedules and SOFAs”) filed by the Debtors in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware (the “Bankruptcy Court”) were prepared pursuant to section 521 of the Bankruptcy Code and Rule 1007 of the Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure (the “Bankruptcy Rules”) by management of the Debtors with unaudited information available as near as possible to the Commencement Date. The Schedules and SOFAs do not purport to represent financial statements prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles in the United States (“GAAP”) and they are not intended to be fully reconciled to the Debtors’ financial statements.
